A Breakthrough Study!

In order to help many paralyzed people, scientists developed something amazing! It's a chip built in to your mind and it controls robotic hands to get things. The experiments happened at Duke Medical Center. For Cathy Hutchinson, a paralyzed woman, this was remarkable. Before, she had to rely on a helper to get things out of reach. Now, she can be much more independent. This is truly an amazing help to people in need and it is the start of much more.

Current Events: James Cameron Plunges Into Ocean

You may know James Cameron as the famous director, working on films such as "Titanic", but over the weekend he did something even more amazing! James Cameron is the first in fifty two years to plunge that deep into the ocean! James plunged nearly seven miles into the Western Pacific! His submarine touched the dark, mysterious ocean floor. He arrived to the surface on Sunday (March 24th) evening. James Cameron broke the record for deepest solo dive!

My opinion about this record breaking dive is on the edge. It sounds like a lot of fun, but only if you have proper training like James. He trained for seven years! At the same time, it is very dangerous. It is the deepest place in the world. Not to mention many have died attempting what he did. lastly, the bottom of the ocean is dark and it would take forever to get back up! Overall, I wouldn't be as brave as James and plunge seven miles into the ocean!
